I understand the reason for a product like this–it would be very nice for a child to be able to eat and play while in the car. BUT IT IS SO INCREDIBLY UNSAFE! If you were to slam on the breaks, everything on this tray would become a projectile, a projectile aimed at the child. I would also guess that the try itself would fly back and hit the child. Have you ever seen a video of a crash-test dummy? Everything in the car is tossed around with such force.
Not to mention that you should never attach anything to a car seat that hasn’t been crash-tested with that seat. Besides being unsafe it will void the warranty and erase any possible responsibility of the car seat manufacturer.

It is nothing like advertised. Limp and flimsy and doesn’t hold anything in front of your child. Don’t waste your money.

My baby is 14 months and she doesn’t use as much. I tought about returning it but I decided to wait till she gets little older. attaching it to her seat was easy. Tray is flexible.

I wanted this product for a recent car trip with my two year old but didn’t purchase it. I decided it is a must have for the next trip and we just got it in the mail yesterday. I do wish the actual surface was more sturdy but I still think this will be an asset for the next road trip. I also love the little side bags as our carseat doesn’t have a cup holder or any compartments on it. These should be nice for my daughter.

This tray is a must for traveling. They can use it to color, read books, play with small toys or eat!
