so, let me start by saying that this charges my 3G iPod Touch and various motorola phones i have attached. it appears to have plenty of power. on the down side, they provide several “prong” sets for various socket configurations. unfortunately, they do not latch in very well, and when you try to unplug it, you are concerned that the prong piece may break off. certainly good to have them if you are traveling alot, but i am not sure of the tradeoff if you are just using it around the house, and wanted to unplug it to save electricity.

This is advertised as being able to charge 4 USB items, but it cannot.
It can charge a single item, but it does not appear to have the amperage to charge more.
I tried 1 Blackberry – it worked.
I tried 2 Blackberries – it did not work.
I tried a Kindle and Blackberry – it did not work.
I tried a phone and Blackberry – – it did not work.
It should have charged all 4 items.
I really wanted this to work as I travel with 3 USB items (Kindle, Blackberry, B. T. headset).

It looked very nice but didn’t charge the device I bought it for( a playstation remote). Maybe it was just compatibility problem

The title sums up my review basically. I have trouble finding USB power adapters that charge my phone. After trying out several that my friends and family have, I came to the conclusion that the Nokia N85 requires an adapter that outputs more than 500 mA. Since this one claims a max of 2A, I thought it might work. Either the claim is false, or there’s actually a max of 500 mA for each of the four outlets, or the problem is something else altogether. Either way, it does not charge my phone so it’s not very useful to me. I’m disappointed at how unclear electronics manufacturers are about what is required for these chargers to work. It makes people waste a lot of time.
