Kensington Travel Battery Pack and Charger for iPhone and iPod touch

There is no support between the battery and the ipod when they are attached. It appears that the connection movement could damage ther female connection into the ipod or fail at the male connection on the battery. The “cap” on the battery could slide up after opening supporting the back of the ipod/iphone attached to it.

I love the Kensington 23 hr. battery pack. It’s a must for the power iPhone user on the go.

I’ll cut to the chase: Lifesaver. Fits in a pocket, provides a full charge on the spot and on the go, plug-and-play simple (no cords; plugs right into the dock connector on the iPhone). For an iPhone junkie like me, this is mandatory equipment. Plus, it charges any iPod with a dock connector, so I use it for my kids’ iPod Touch units, as well. Indeed, it’s tempting to buy one for each pocket in every jacket, shirt, pants, and shorts I own. I know, obsessive. But if you’re reading reviews of back-up iPhone chargers, you, too, have already crossed that line. The only downside is that you have to remember to charge it once you use it, because needing an emergency charger for your emergency charger is not a happy moment. But, really, this is the best use of $40 an iPhone user can make. So stop reading. Buy.

For those who live with the eternally short battery life of the iPhone, this battery pack, though blocky, does a great job of managing a complete re-charge, and is a godsend for those endless hours one spends in airports. No worry about your juice running out mid-flight, this puppy keeps your kindle, movies, music running all through the trip. No wires or cords to lose, just plug it into the USB port on your computer at the next stop to fill-up again. If you need a battery that mirrors the phone’s profile, then go with the Kensington Mini. . . . . . but that only gives you half the juice (I’ve been able to take a 40% battery and resuscitate it to full steam) of this unit. I carry both this and the mini on all my trips. It’s also great on planes as the kickstand function of the plug cover props the phone at a good angle for reading and saves your hand from having to hold the unit in order to read / watch .

I love this little guy! The price on Amazon is great (it retails for about 30. 00 more), & it fits into my purse perfectly! I used it on a recent trip & it recharged my iphone to 100%. I love the fact that I can still use my iphone while it is charging.
