  • I ordered this item several weeks ago, and it never arrived. One week before our trip to Europe, I receive an e-mail that this item is not available and will never be shipped. So, beware, if you need this item Summer 2009, don’t count on it ever coming!

Terrific way to hide money when you are traveling. Both my husband and brother-in-law found them to be easy to use and not bothersome.

I found the item to meet my very high expectations. It is soft, supple, yet tough. It is everything I was hoping
    it would be.

I leave for China in a few days and this just arrived. I didn’t want a bulky money belt or a holster bag and this seemed to be just the ticket. I hadn’t read all of the reviews before, but now I have. As one reviewer said, I too was surprised to see the two mesh pockets on the inside. Since it is not mentioned in the description I uploaded a photo showing the pockets. I do agree with one reviewer on the zipper. It is vertical and you pull it up to close it. It would be better if it pulled down to close so as to better prevent it from easing open during your travels. The odds of that happening are probably minimal, but there is always a chance. That is such a minor quibble that I gave it five stars anyway. I’ve been wearing it for practice since it arrived with passport, cards and a bunch of money inside and I really do forget it is there. This will certainly give me piece of mind in China. To avoid pulling it out every time I need money I do intend to carry a few renminbi in my wallet, but the bulk of my money will be kept safe in this pocket.

If you want to access this money belt, unless the waistband on your pants is very loose, you have to unzip your pants. Even if your waistband is loose, you would still have to unbuckle your belt to access this money belt, there is no way to get around that. Unzipping you pants is not very good when you’re in public. Try that at the airport. Basically I threw my money away buying this. It is absolutely useless. I’ve traveled all over the world and can see that whoever designed this never traveled with it.
