PostHeaderIcon Road Trip! Summer 2009

This summer I took road trips though the desert southwest of Arizona and California, from the urban desert of Phoenix, to the high deserts of southern California. I visited my friend Caylyn (GreatGig1) several times, who for over a year now, has been teaching me how to edit videos (I’m a very slow learner!). This video is dedicated to her, thanking her for all her patience and time, teaching me to make better videos and sparking my interest in creating music and art again. PostHeaderIcon LAZY SUMMER DAYS

I wrote this song as I was playing around with some new sounds. I was thinking back to growing up in BC where summers meant going to the corner store, stacking all the flavours of slurpee in one massive cup, spontaneous road trips to Oregon, Washington, California, playing guitar on my parents balcony…good times LAZY SUMMER DAYS Take my fingers of my guitar strings (they linger) Let my senses bathe in the moment (in the moment of you) I remember the times when everything was alright Lazy summer days I remember when corner stores were on corners ice cold drinks in hand with five flavours of ice road trips on a moments notice to wherever lazy summer days When I grow up I hope I don’t grow up and lose this take it all in now because it won’t last long and soon be over

Product DescriptionRainshadow Lodge may be on a secluded island with blue skies and crystal waters, but surely that isn’t enough to make three mismatched couples jump over their differences and into each other’s arms. After all, what could a socialite and a handyman have in common? How could a workaholic and a free spirit ever compromise? And why would a perfectly nice woman overcome a bad first impression made by a grumpy stranger? Must be in something in the air. Amazon. com Review. . . More >>
