Sukh presents a petition for Burns Bog to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Member of Parliament Sukh Dhaliwal presented a petition to the House of Commons on September 30, 2009 calling on the government to make Burns Bog a UNESCO World Heritage site. This international designation would recognise its importance as a cultural and environmental landmark. This would go a long way to preserving the bog for generations to come.
