my guess is that the film is from 1942 instead of 1932; several parts from the film as well as historical circumstances (the Japanese invasion) lead into that direction

the narrator mentions the liberation from the Japanese, so wouldn’t this be from the 1940s? Unless the narration was added later to an older film
